The Unbothered Crones are in the house and reclaiming our voice without apology
Hello lovelies!
You know I’ve been busy lately, and I have one more endeavor I am undertaking that I am excited to announce. I’m launching a podcast, and I wanted you to be the first to know.
It’s called The Unbothered Crones, and I’m building it with my dear friend, stylist, and host of the former Wardrobe Muse podcast, Lisa Ann Schraffa Santin (she can be found here on Substack at Lisa Ann Schraffa Santin). We have a decade-plus friendship that began when we were both brave and somewhat crazy enough to start our own businesses, that has only deepened as our journeys unfolded.
Interestingly, as the miles between us extended from Beverly, MA to Luxor, Egypt, so did the depth and potency of our conversations. At some point, Lisa Ann and I realized that what we were discussing was bigger than the two of us, and the idea for the podcast was born. As a Wisdom & Wonder subscriber, you’ve been with me through my years in the gilded cage, the move to Luxor, and now the spiritual mentoring work I’m honored to guide others through — so of course, you’re the first ones I wanted to include in this new endeavor!
We are two women, proudly claiming our crone era, and sharing our perspectives on entrepreneurship, the hamster wheel of modern life, and the dumpster fire that seems to be raging around us on any given day — while striving to staying unbothered.
We’re not polished. We’re not perfect. We’re not performing. We’re here to speak without apology, the way we actually do when no one’s editing us - especially ourselves. We are about reclaiming the crone, giving voice to what we are passionate about, and naming the things we’ve stopped allowing to run us, and the work it takes to stay unbothered through the chaos.
