Merry Christmas, my friends! I hope everyone is celebrating this season of Light with peace and joy in your heart. As we move through these unprecedented and often unsettling times, it is easy to forget all of the light that surrounds us. I’ve spent the morning messaging friends across the globe, reminded that distance is an illusion, and deeply grateful for the amazing souls who accompany me on this journey. Soon I will commence preparation of a Ford family appetizer favorite, the epic pepperoni pie. It’s a vintage 1980s concoction involving loads of cheese and pepperoni, baked to perfection, and is one of the only things that I manage to bake without setting off the smoke alarm. A classic culinary delight! Memories of childhood Christmas gatherings, of loved ones no longer with us, and a deep appreciation for our shared lineage fills my heart this morning.
As I think of my family of origin, and the dear friends who are my soul family, I see the brilliance of the cosmos reflected in each of us. As above, so below. We are a constellation of souls, shimmering in the night, illuminating the way home with our luminosity. Our friendships and connections are a fierce defiance of the illusion of separation. Our Light is connected by our Love, and neither distance nor darkness can diminish our radiance. In an odd paradox, both only seem to make it shine brighter.
More and more lately, I feel the call to anchor within my Self, to walk forward on my path as the chaos and cacophony of the world fades into the background, to devolve and evolve as it is meant to do. I love that the cards today are all about focusing on what lights us up, trusting the voice of our first and most trusted companion, the OG Soul Sister - our Intuition, following the path with faith even when we don’t know the next step, and coming into alignment both within ourselves and in how we offer ourselves in service in the world. Such a profound message of Being the Light, of embodying our true Essence as Eternal Beings of Light. I am so richly blessed to never walk alone.
